Dr. Maryam Ghafournia, a highly skilled and experienced paediatric dentist, has joined our practice, bringing with her over a decade of dedication to children’s oral health.

Dr. Maryam began her dental career in 2009 after graduating from one of Iran’s most prestigious universities. During her time there, she developed a passion for paediatric dentistry, which she pursued through work in both public and private sectors, as well as by teaching at the university level until 2019.

After relocating to Australia in 2019, she initially practiced as a general dentist before earning her Australian Pediatric Dentistry qualification in 2024. Dr. Maryam’s extensive experience across diverse clinical settings and her academic background equip her to handle a wide range of pediatric dental cases with expertise and compassion.

She shares our commitment to creating a positive dental experience for every child, focusing on building trust, comfort, and long-term oral health.In her personal time, Dr. Maryam enjoys exploring Australia’s natural beauty, staying active through exercise, discovering new cuisines, and spending quality time with her cat, Meeko.
